<p>A complex compound of zinc acetate with diphenylthiocarbazone was synthesized in a 1:2 molar ratio. The composition and structure of the synthesized complex were determined by elemental, X-ray diffraction, derivatographic analysis, IR spectroscopy, and SEM-EDX.  It has been established that coordination with metal ions occurs through the sulfur atoms of the C-S group and with the nitrogen of the diazo group</p>
