Abstract
There are data in the literature on the study of reactive changes in the endocrine cells of the epithelium of the intestinal mucosa under various influences, and today there are many unexplored issues, the reaction of endocrine cells of the epithelium of the small intestine mucosa in the post-reproductive period has not been elucidated. We have studied ultrastructural changes in the endocrine cells of the epithelium of the small intestine mucosa in the post-reproductive period in experimental animals. In the post-reproductive period, as a result of estrogen deficiency, there are changes in EC cells. Changes were observed in the organelles of the synthetic cell apparatus (secretory granules, Golgi complex, granular endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria). These changes indicate an increase in their functional activity. No significant changes were observed in EG and S cells.
