Abstract
Over the past decade, significant advances have been made in the visualization of renovascular diseases, drug therapy and methods of revascularization of the kidneys. This is especially important when studying atherosclerotic changes in the renal arteries and hemodynamics in arterial hypertension and comorbid conditions. Despite these scientific data, there is a lot of debate and discussion among cardiologists, interns and nephrologists about the optimal examination of patients with hypertension and diabetes. The cardiorenal continuum has been the most discussed area of internal medicine over the past 10 еars when it comes to comorbidity. Cardiovascular diseases, obesity, type 2 diabetes and kidney dysfunction are becoming more and more pandemics of the 21st century. In recent еars, the main cause of renal dysfunction is not its primary disease, arterial hypertension (AH), i.e. essential arterial hypertension (AH) and diabetes mellitus.
