Primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs) or congenital immune disorders are inherited disorders that disrupt the immune response, resulting in an increased risk of infectious and autoimmune complications, inflammatory processes, the development of cancer and oncohematological diseases. The modern classification of PID includes more than 354 different diseases and the list is constantly expanding. According to various estimates, approximately 6,000,000.00 people have PIDs, of which, however, only 27-60 thousands are diagnosed, due to low awareness of these diseases among both primary care physicians and the general population. The lack of a national registry of patients with PID in Uzbekistan does not allow us to estimate the actual incidence rate. Efforts should be made to create a database of a national register of patients with PID in Uzbekistan. PID registries help to better understand epidemiological analysis of genotypes and phenotypes and are crucial not only for scientific research, but also for the development of improved diagnostic and treatment protocols.
