ANEMIA IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Abstract
Objective: determine the value of the level of anemia in pregnant women with rheumatoid arthritis. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted on 100 pregnant women with a history of rheumatoid arthritis who were treated in the maternity complex of the first multidisciplinary clinic of Samarkand State Medical University during 2020-2022. The study used general clinical, laboratory (hematological, biochemical, immunological), instrumental and statistical methods of research. Results: All women with rheumatoid arthritis were divided into 2 groups according to hematological parameters: control - 20 women without anemia, and the main group - 80 women who were diagnosed with anemia according to hematological parameters. The type and degree of anemia in pregnant women with rheumatoid arthritis was determined in accordance with the classification recommended by WHO. Anemia of chronic diseases was observed in 56.25%, iron deficiency anemia in 40%, and in 3 women (3.75%) of the main group, the presence of both types of anemia was determined. Conclusions. All pregnant women with rheumatoid arthritis from the main group were diagnosed with anemia of various forms and degrees, which are characterized by a relationship between the duration, activity and radiographic manifestations of the disease.
