Annotatsiya
This review summarizes the data of domestic and foreign literature on carbon implants as the most universal materials for bone defects of the operated segment in spine surgery. Given the historical data on the use of carbon material in traumatology and orthopedics, various kinds of carbon implants and their physic and biomechanical properties and biocompatibility with body tissue. Discusses the advantages of carbon materials compared with the other composite materials.
