Abstract
Target. To study the results of treatment of 1221 patients with avascular necrosis of the femoral head diagnosed after coronavirus infection. Materials and methods. In 2020-2021 1221 patients with avascular necrosis of the femoral head were examined at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Findings. The protocol for the treatment of COVID-19 disease should include dispensary registration of patients with Covid-19, as well as osteotropic drugs, vitamin D preparations and a vitamin complex for the prevention of aseptic necrosis of the femoral head. In the early stages of avascular necrosis, conservative therapy is indicated, in patients with stages I and II, with the ineffectiveness of conservative treatment, the use of Core decompression makes it possible to achieve positive results in 60-70% of cases; on the contrary, autoosseous plasty was successful only in 41% of cases, and volumetric surgical interventions were less effective. Tunnelization performed in 24 patients gave unsatisfactory results in 7 patients who subsequently underwent total hip arthroplasty.
