Cerebral circulatory disorders (CCD) by prevalence occupy the leading position in the list of the most significant social problems. Stroke is one of the main causes of disability in patients, regardless of age, sex, ethnicity and country of residence. It should be emphasised that the high prevalence of arterial hypertension (AH) and major cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis (AS) and ischemic heart disease (IHD), along with decreasing life expectancy of patients, lead to a constant increase in the overall structure of cerebrovascular pathology of the proportion of acute forms of NMI, primarily ischemic stroke.
