Abstract
A special place in the formation of a pathological craving for drugs is occupied by affective disorders. Purpose of the study: to evaluate the influence of premorbid factors in drug addicted patients and to study the structure and dynamics of affective disorders. Methods: clinical-psychopathological, clinical-catamnestic and statistical research methods were used. Results: the value of socio-demographic and constitutional-biological indicators that determine the formation and dynamics of addiction in patients with heroin addiction is higher than in opioid and cannabis users. The duration of episodic use, disease course and remission in heroin-dependent patients is shorter than in other groups. Affective disorders are an inevitable component of the pathological craving for drug addiction. Anxiety-depressive, anxious, and dysphoric disorders predominate in patients suffering from opioid and heroin addiction, and depressive, anxious, depressive-hypochondriacal, and dysphoric variants predominate in cannabis addicts. Conclusions: it is necessary to take into account these aspects in the prevention of drug addiction and in the provision of medical and rehabilitation services to patients.
