Abstract
268 male patients with different types of inguinal hernias were selected for the study. Depending on the choice of treatment tactics, the patients were divided into three groups: - 96 (35,8%) patients with inguinal hernias who underwent hernioautoplasty by traditional methods and 138 (51,5%) patients who underwent "non-tensioned" inguinal hernioalloplasty by the Lichtenstein method. In the main group in 34 (12,6%) cases transabdominal laparoscopic hernioalloplasty was performed. The priority use of non-tensioned methods of hernia alloplasty - Lichtenstein operation and transabdominal laparoscopic hernioalloplasty allowed to reduce the frequency of specific complications in the early postoperative period from 13.5% to 7.9% and 5.9%, respectively, as well as the frequency of hernia recurrence from 8.5% in the comparison group to 2.7% in the main group.
