FEATURES OF THE COURSE OF SEROUS MENINGITIS OF MUMPS ETIOLOGY IN ADULTS (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE SAMARKAND REGION)

Abstract
Vaccinationisoneof the mosteffectiveandcost-effectivemethods of preventinginfectiousdiseases.After the introduction of measles,mumps,rubellaandothervaccinesinto the nationalvaccinationcalendar of the Republic of Uzbekistan,there was a significantdecrease in the incidence of diseasessuchasmumpsinfection,measles,rubella,viralhepatitis,influenzaandotherinfectiousdiseases,significantlymanytimescomparedtopreviousyears.But,despiteall the progressfromvaccination, the incidence of mumpsinfection in adults is periodicallynoted, andnotsorarely. The introduction of adolescentchildrenandadultsinto the epidemicprocessindicates their lackofcollectiveimmunityduringthisperiod. In order toreducethespread of the diseaseamongadults, it is necessarytoisolateandhospitalizethem in a timely manner at their place of residenceorininfectioushospitals, taking into account the severity of the clinicalpicture.Inthisarticle, the features of the courseandoutcome of mumpsinfection in adultsandyoungpeoplewereexamined.
