Abstract
The problem of diagnostics of chronic laryngitis is relevant. Against the background of chronic inflammation of the larynx, the development of a malignant tumor is possible. Chronic hyperplastic laryngitis represents the greatest danger for malignancy. In modern otolaryngology, interest in the problem of diagnostics of chronic hyperplastic laryngitis does not wane. This is one of the most common inflammatory diseases of the larynx and accounts for 8-10% of all pathology of ENT organs [3,5]. According to various authors, in 60% of patients, chronic inflammatory processes (laryngitis) are the background for the development of tumors.
