MORPHOLOGICAL PICTURE OF BONE MARROW IN PATIENTS IN THE EARLY PERIOD AFTER ALLOGENEIC HEMATOPOIETIC CELL TRANSPLANTATION

Haemoblastosis is one of the most pressing medical problems. Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is currently a reliable method of tumor eradication in leukemia. Despite the fact that the history of transplantation spans more than 50 years, the issues of bone marrow repair after allogeneic and autologous transplantation are poorly studied. The purpose of the study. To study the morphological picture of the bone marrow according to trepanobioptates in early post-transplant period in patient with acute leukemia. Materials and methods. A morphological analysis of trepanobioptates of 30 patients after alloBMT performed at the RSSPMCH in the period from 2023 to 2024 was carried out. Results. From the data obtained, it can be seen that even after alloBMT in this group of patients, the cellularity of the bone morrow in none of the patients reached normal values on day +30. 22(74%) patients had normocellular by day +30. In 8(26%) cases, clearly defined hypocellularity was noted in bone morrow. The ratio between adipose bone marrow and myelocaryocytes prevailed towards adipose tissue was 0.5:0.9 — which indicates hypoplasia of hematopoiesis. Decreasing of the cellularity in 1/3 of patients occurred even within 60 days, which manifested itself in 7(23%) as three-stage cytopenia. Conclusion. From all this, it can be concluded that despite the relatively stable peripheral blood parameters, it is still too early to talk about complete bone marrow repair even at +60 days after BMT.
