Annotatsiya
The article is devoted to the study of immune status in patients with recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS). An analysis of specific and nonspecific factors of local immune response, including lactoferrin, immunoglobulins (IgA, IgM, IgG), interferon-γ, interleukins (IL-2, IL-4), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), was carried out. A significant increase in the concentrations of immunoglobulins and TNF-α was found, accompanied by a decrease in interferon-γ and IL-4. These changes indicate the activation of inflammatory processes, tissue destructive changes, and weakened antiviral protection of the mucosa. The obtained results emphasize the pathogenetic significance of local immunity in the development of RAS and substantiate the need to include immunomodulatory therapy in comprehensive treatment.
