Abstract
Preeclampsia is a formidable disease that occurs in women after the 20th week of pregnancy and is accompanied by a triad of symptoms. These symptoms include edema, increased blood pressure and proteinuria. Untimely diagnosis of this pathology can lead to HELLP syndrome H – hemolysis, EL – elevated liver enzymes, LP – low level platelet (thrombocytopenia). It in turn can lead to maternal mortality. Further therapy is aimed at preventing liver complications in preeclampsia.
