Annotaciya

Objective: To analyze the main statistical indicators of cervical cancer in the Republic of Uzbekistan over the past 15 years. Methods: The materials and methods of the study were the data from the state statistical report for the period 2010-2024 ("Information on malignant neoplasms" form-7). Results: In the Republic of Uzbekistan, cervical cancer takes the fourth place in the overall structure of oncological morbidity, behind breast cancer, colorectal cancer and stomach cancer. The study over 15-year period showed that there were registered 23 668 new cases of cervical cancer (6.9%), out of all malignant neoplasms. Over the past 15 years, the incidence rate of cervical cancer has tended to increase from 8,7 in 2010 to 11,1 in 2024 per 100,000 female population. In the Republic of Uzbekistan, the majority of patients with cervical cancer were aged 45-64 years (61.5%). From 2010 to 2024, 12 412 women died from cervical cancer in the Republic, with the mortality rate per 100,000 female population being 4,4 in 2010 and 4,9 in 2024. Conclusions: Based on the study, it can be concluded that cervical cancer has an increasing incidence in the Republic of Uzbekistan and is a leading cause of mortality among the female population, which requires timely decisions.
