Abstract
Soft tissue necrosis in children is a severe pathological condition that develops under the influence of traumatic, infectious, ischemic, or toxic factors. Although relatively rare, this condition is characterized by rapid progression and a high risk of mortality. In our observation, 87 pediatric patients received treatment in the surgical infection department, where appropriate therapeutic interventions were carried out. The aim of this article is to present current data on the etiopathogenesis, classification, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and treatment principles of soft tissue necrosis in pediatric surgical practice.
