Аннотация
Chronic colostasis (chronic cologenic constipation) remains one of the most relevant problems in modern abdominal surgery and coloproctology, characterized by a prolonged course, low response to conservative therapy, and a significant decline in patients’ quality of life. This article presents a comprehensive assessment of clinical, functional, instrumental, and laboratory parameters influencing the choice of surgical treatment in patients with chronic colostasis. The study considered disease duration, the degree of colonic motility impairment, anatomical and functional changes, patient age, and comorbid conditions, which enabled the development of individualized criteria for selecting the optimal type and extent of surgical intervention. The obtained results contribute to improving the effectiveness of surgical treatment, reducing postoperative complications, and shortening rehabilitation periods.
