OUR EXPERIENCE OF PERCUTANEOUS BIOPSY IN METASTATIC LESIONS OF THE LUMBAR SPINE

Abstract
The study evaluated the effectiveness of percutaneous spinal biopsy in metastatic lesions of the lumbar segment. The procedure was performed under fluoroscopic guidance in 20 patients. Targeting the biopsy site within the cortical layer improved diagnostic accuracy and eliminated false-negative results. The method demonstrated high informativeness and safety.
