Abstract

The article deals with the role and significance of the poetry of Makhtumkuli in the culture of the Uzbek people. The author of the article gives a review of the work on the propaganda of the creation of Makhtumkuli done by bakhshi (bards), singers, composers, poets, scholars and interpreters.
