Annotaciya
The article deals with the issues of literary- artistic translation. The development of theory and practice of literary translation is one of the actual issues of Linguistics, as today the translation of the best samples of the national literature into English, that is a means of international communication, is of a great importance. The author gives a brief review of the work in translation that is being done at the Department of the English language and literature of the institute. Translation of the works of the outstanding Uzbek and Karakalpak writers and poets gives wide opportunities to the people of different countries to get acquainted with the literature of our country.
