The article explores the educational significance of each genre of Karakalpak folklore in the development of preschoolers as individuals. Each genre in children's folklore helps a child to learn about the world, interact with others, adapt to society, think cognitively, and gain initial knowledge about the environment. The role of each genre in children's folklore is invaluable in the development of preschool children, culturally rich, able to think freely in their native language, understand their people, and have a personal opinion. These folklore genres are inherited from our ancestors, and our educational and teaching duty is to pass them on to the next generation in a pure, transparent form, to continue our national heritage.
