Аннотация
The article reveals the essence of information and communication technologies, defines their role in teaching a foreign language in the context of modernization of education, and proposes a classification of new information technology tools used in teaching a foreign language. The use of new information technologies in teaching is one of the most important aspects of improving and optimizing the educational process, enriching the arsenal of methodological tools and techniques that make it possible to diversify the forms of work and make the process of learning a foreign language interesting for students.
