The article discusses the current state and problems of training students in technological education, the need to prepare specialists for professional activity based on a competency-based approach in technological education, to consistently familiarize them with active knowledge and innovations in disciplines, to develop learning and cognitive competence, to form a qualified specialist, to achieve professional growth, to purposefully and systematically master the information necessary for students to organize their life and professional activities, and to achieve their purposeful formation.
