Abstract
The article discusses the methodology for organizing extracurricular activities in chemistry in secondary schools, including chemistry clubs, science Olympiads, and chemistry evenings. The role of extracurricular activities in deepening students' knowledge, developing practical skills, and increasing their interest in chemistry is analyzed. The pedagogical foundations of effective organization of chemistry Olympiads and mass events are also indicated. The results of the study show that extracurricular activities have a high educational and educational value in teaching chemistry.
