Abstract
The theory of conformal mapping is one of the most practical branches of complex analysis and serves as the main tool for solving problems in hydrodynamics, electrostatics, and heat transfer. In complex problems where domain boundaries consist of broken lines (polygons), the Schwarz-Christoffel formula serves as a universal solution. This paper analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the Schwarz-Christoffel formula, as well as problems of mapping the upper half-plane onto the interior of polygons.
