Abstract
This article covers the theoretical foundations of PBL (Project-based Learning), the benefits of implementing it and language learning successes that students can achieve through its use. Also, it covers of the modern implementation of PBL in Higher Education Institutions in our Republic, in particular, at EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classes, not only to ensure innovative acquisition of English through PBL, but also to provide students with 21st century skills, such as communicative competence, critical thinking, teamwork, problem solving and creativity are prevalent for the development of language skills of students.
