Abstract

In this article, the importance of orographic terms representing relief forms, which often serve as an object in geographical research, in the formation of toponyms is highlighted on the example of the toponyms of Dehganabad district. The orographic terms that formed the toponyms of the region were scientifically analyzed and the etymology of the toponyms was determined on this basis.
