Abstract

the article deals with the study of problems related to the compilation of a dictionary of anthropomorphic metaphors in Uzbek linguistics, the features of the study, the social significance of approaches used in the research of domestic and foreign scientists on the dictionary of metaphors, the need for speech, the possibilities of expression, the reasons for the formation.
