Abstract
The article notes that in Uzbek folk tales, travel is one of the most important motives that set the plot in motion, the motive of the journey is often closely related to the dream + test motives, action is one of the motives and is actively used in all three types of fairy tales, as well as the idea that the trip was a means to test the hero’s courage, show courage, get closer to the patron forces and finally reach his goal.
