Abstract

The article reveals the importance of diagnostics of the educational process in a pedagogical university. Attention is drawn to the formulation of the concepts “diagnostics”, “diagnosis”. For the development of the state and society in today’s modern conditions, the Pedagogical University focuses on the training of intellectually, spiritually and morally mature, qualified future teachers. That’s why the issues of improving the system of pedagogical diagnostics of the educational process, as well as the functions of pedagogical diagnostics were covered.
