This article discusses the process of formation of pedagogical competencies among students of military faculties and the prospects for their improvement, as well as competencies that are important for future teachers. The teacher-student relationship. A brief description of the process of interaction of students studying in the military faculty with military units and institutions is given. The article presents the opinion and work of some researchers on the process of formation of pedagogical competencies among students, as well as the directions recommended by them. In addition, taking into account the specifics of the faculty of military education and the processes of military service, students studying in this direction will be given brief recommendations and conclusions on the types of military competencies and the formation of these competencies.
