Abstract

The article deals with gender aspects of adolescents’ auto-aggressive behavior. Gender identity, being one of the basic structures of self-consciousness, plays a decisive role in the processes of adaptation and self-regulation of the emerging personality. The article is devoted to the problem of the growth of suicide in the world and in our country in particular. The assumption about the influence of the gender factor on the features of the manifestation of suicidal behavior of adolescents is considered; teenager.
