Abstract
The subject of this study was the study of the psychological health of professional workers engaged in technical fields. The purpose of the study: to establish the influence of psychological health of professional workers engaged in technical fields. 168 professional workers who are engaged in technical fields took part in the study. Of these, 2 groups were formed: the main one (n = 80), which included professionals, and the comparison group (n = 87), consisting of workers who had 2 and 3 working categories. Diagnosis of psychological health and changes in the psyche of employees was carried out 2-3 days before the work shift. Quantitative data were processed by methods of mathematical statistics. In the main group, in contrast to the comparison group, increases in the degree of manifestation of personality traits interpreted as negative were revealed. These qualities include: anxiety, frustration, depression, rigidity. It has been established that intense and prolonged physical and neuropsychiatric stresses cause the appearance and intensification of somatic symptoms in professional workers (a feeling of pain in the joints, stomach, heart and other organs). Extreme conditions of their professional activity lead to mental exhaustion, increased sensitivity to crisis, increased professional stress and a decrease in the quality of life
