The article discusses the conditions for the formation of linguo-methodological competence of future primary school teachers. The experience of scientific research of domestic, foreign and scientists from neighboring countries in the field of the formation of professional competencies among students of higher pedagogical educational organizations is described. On the basis of this, the selection and structuring of the competencies that are necessary for the future elementary school teacher in his professional activities in the field of research work, pedagogical activity, in the field of management, as well as in the field of enlightenment and spiritual and educational work were made. The place of linguo-methodological competence in the structure of competencies of future primary school teachers is determined, and the author's definition of linguo-methodological competence of future primary school teachers is presented. The conclusions presented in the article are true, as they were studied as part of a dissertation research conducted on the basis of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, as well as Andijan State University and confirmed experimentally. The study on the methodology for the formation of linguo-methodological competence of future primary school teachers was carried out in the logic of legal acts and provisions of the state educational standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan..
