In this article, the possibilities of physical education in raising moral qualities of high school students, the professional competence of the future physical education teacher, and the factors that ensure the effectiveness of their work are considered. Also, the positive impact of physical exercises on the spiritual development of the individual was revealed, the leading methods for the development of organizational, communicative and rhetorical competence of future physical education teachers are presented. Recommendations have been developed for the effective use of the possibilities of the science "Physical Culture" in the formation of the moral qualities of students in general education schools.
