features of the manifestation of adaptation indicators in adolescents engaged in rhythmic gymnastics in this article, personal characteristics, activity motivation and sports results, as well as the possibilities of optimizing and accelerating the process of adaptation of gymnasts to the conditions of group activities. studied using special pedagogical technologies. Also, the central characteristic of the adaptation of gymnasts ‘sports activities to group conditions is socio-psychological adaptation, The objective criteria of which are: group cohesion, value orientation and subjective criteria at the level of behavior unity and behavior- the emotional attitude of athletes to the group, the views on the success of athletes’ group performances.
