Abstract
In this article ten public and private higher education institutions operating in Uzbekistan are compared with statistical methods, namely t-test. Article explores quality models and incorporates the best practices in quality models and university ranks in global ranking systems to conduct comparative analysis of public and private higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. According to this study, while private higher education institutions have poorer infrastructure, a few of private universities are introducing new pedagogical innovations into higher education sector of Uzbekstan.
