Abstract

Bukhara is one of the regions rich in historical toponyms. In this region more than a hundred toponyms with a history of several centuries. These toponyms use several toponymic lexical units. The toponymic component «obod» occupies a special place and position. The word «obod» is used in a number of regional toponymic groups. In terms of meaning, this word is used in such toponyms as village, street, mahalla, guzar, lake, collector.

Бухара, имя собственное, топоним, топонимика, абад, компонент абад, название населенного пункта, название улицы.Buxoro, atoqli ot, toponim, toponimiya, obod, obod komponenti, aholi punkti nomi, ko‘cha nomi.Bukhara, proper name, toponym, toponymy, abad, component abad, name of a settlement, street name.
