REFLECTION OF SOCIAL ROLES IN THE SEMANTIC STRUCTURE OF WORDS: Ikramova Shakhlo, PhD NUUZ. Teacher, Goethe-Institut Taschkent

Abstract
This article examines various theoretical approaches to the study of the social component of the meaning of linguistic units within the framework of sociolinguistics and linguoculturology. The article shows that within each social group there are unique forms of communication and interaction - social relations, which are reflected in the semantics of linguistic units and include labor, professional, national, cultural and role. Role relationships determine the level of formality and the choice of words may vary depending on the social status and role of the participants in communication. Also, in groups with different levels of hierarchy, language may be more or less formal. These various forms of social interaction not only determine how people communicate within their social groups, but also how they interact with members of other groups. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of words expressing asymmetrical role relationships between the subject and object of the action.
