This article will talk about the education of students in a spiritual spirit on the basis of innovation and the integration of traditions. Also, the problems of accepting the role of the pedagogical psychologist as an active participant in the innovation process, the development of an innovative position of students-future pedagogical psychologists associated with a lack of knowledge about the peculiarities of the psychological support of the innovative process were carried out. In addition, the dynamics of the formation of an innovative position of students - future pedagogical psychologists are highlighted.
