This article describes the developing functions of analyzers and the content of mental operations in the development of reading skills in children with severe speech defects, and analyzes the content of motives and approaches necessary for the effective implementation of reading skills in preschool educational institutions. It is known that an educational environment aimed at the correction and development of primary and secondary disorders of preschool children is a condition for the development of the child’s personality. Taking this into account, this article presents examples of technologies that a specialist can use in the course of his professional activities.
