Effective organization of the educational process, in which students learn to quickly and productively memorize large amounts of information, requires the need to create special conditions for the development of logical thinking among students. This article shows the possibilities of using timelines in the study of chemistry as a means of visualizing theoretical material. Software applications for creating timelines in preparation for training sessions are presented.
