In this article, the methods and tools used in the activities of tutors were analyzed on the basis of foreign experience. The technology and methods that the tutor can use in working with students have been studied. These are Case learning» (a teaching method based on the analysis of practical situations); «Portfolio» (a method of presenting educational results); «Discussion» (a method of organizing a public discussion). Tutor forms of work - consultations, individual and group training sessions (seminars), educational events, trainings, taking into account the age and capabilities of students, were considered pedagogically and psychologically.
