Abstract
This work is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of proverbs as a vivid manifestation of folk wisdom and cultural heritage. As the author, we make an attempt to analyze various proverbs, identify their semantic depth and applicability in various contexts. The study highlights the history and functions of proverbs, their role in shaping a person’s worldview and way of thinking. The use of proverbs in literature, art and everyday life, as well as their meaning in modern society, is also examined. The work is aimed at a deeper understanding and value of this folklore genre, as well as an awareness of its relevance and importance in the modern world.
