This article presents the results of studies of collection samples of alfalfa from the NIISSAVH gene pool for the 2022 seed harvest. The study was carried out at the central experimental farm of the institute. Of the 176 collection samples studied, 22 samples have superiority over the standard variety Tashkentskaya-1 in terms of seed yield from 3.3% to 86.6%, and the remaining samples have indicators below the standard. From the obtained analysis results, we can conclude that it is advisable to use high-yielding collection samples as starting materials for breeding new varieties of alfalfa with high seed yields.
