CONTEMPORARY METHODOLOGIES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION

Abstract
This article explores a range of contemporary methodological frameworks employed in foreign language education. It traces the transition from conventional teacher-directed approaches toward learner-centred and communicative paradigms, examining how Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Learning, CLIL, blended instruction, and digital technologies are reshaping modern language classrooms. The article also addresses the obstacles associated with adopting these frameworks within the Uzbek educational context and concludes by offering practical guidance for language practitioners
