Abstract
This article details the linguists mentioned in Abu An-Nasafi’s Al-Qand. “Kitab al-Qand” by Abu Hafs al-Nasafi, written about the scholars of Samarkand, is one of the invaluable sources that have come down to us. Although the work is dedicated to reflecting the spiritual environment of Samarkand, including the development of the science of hadith, a number of linguists are mentioned in it. The scientific heritage of Abu Hafs Nasafi was widely used in revealing the content of the article. In particular, the scientist's work “Al-Yavaqit fil mawaqit” was considered as the main source for identifying the muhaddis of Movarounnahr.
