THE ROLE OF SCIENTIFIC HERITAGE EVGENIY EDUARDOVICH BERTELS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ORIENTAL STUDIES

This article is devoted to the analysis of the role of orientalist E.E.Bertels in the development of Oriental source studies, philosophy and literary studies. The contribution of the famous orientalist E.E.Bertels to the development of Oriental studies as a scientific discipline is considered. His scientific legacy is analyzed in detail, including works on the study of Persian literature, history and culture of the countries of the East. Special attention is paid to his methodological approaches and their impact on subsequent research in the field of Oriental studies. The article emphasizes the importance of Bertels’ works for the formation of modern ideas about the cultural and historical development of the East, as well as his role in the training of new generations of orientalists. The main directions and results of his research, their relevance and application in modern science are considered.
