Abstract

This article deals with the scientific-theoretical research of the professional competence of future foreign language teachers. Also, in the development of the social (sociological) definition of "competence", interpretations of competence in which personal and social aspects are interrelated are subjected to a separate analysis. Also, the official and scientific literature on the topic of this article is summarized and general conclusions are given on the existing discussions.
